Day 6, Sept 3rd Beilstein on the Mosel

Small quaint Germany village on the Mosel

View 2023 Fred EURO 15 and European Rondezvous with Barb on Horstmeyer's travel map.

I left Koblenz which is where the Rhine and the Mosel split off. The area is know as the Deutsch Ecke. I have ridden this segment two years ago and remember that it is beautiful. It was 33 miles on a bike trail along the Mosel which took me about 4 hours. I did stop in a village called Lof and sat outside on a patio overlooking the Mosel eating warm apple strudel and having the best German coffee. Barb called me ( was 2 am for her) because she saw that I was stopped so I sent her a picture of my strudel. I finished my 33 miles and ended up in my favorite German village of Beilstein which I was happily greeted by Anya. They will store my bike in an underground bunker which I believe leads to the wine cellar.

Will work with Barb later today to plan the next two days!
