We went down for breakfast at our Hotel Mecure Alstadt. What a great breakfast buffet, one of the best on all our travels. We headed to the Viktualienmarkt which is a daily outdoor market of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, basically every kid of fresh food you could think of and don’t forget the flowers. In the middle of the market is a bier garden!

We walked over to the Marienplatz in the main city square. This square has been here since 1158. This Gothic building has a tour know as the Glockenspiel which was inspired by the tournaments that were held here in the Middle Ages.

There are outdoor restaurants with tables facing the Glockenspiel so we stopped and had two Weiss bier and a plate of pommes.(French fries)
We walked back to the outdoor market and bought some freshly made Obatza cheese and a pretzel. Had two more Weiss biers in the bier garden all before noon. We both were tired so we walked and shopped and ended up at our Hotel for a 2:5 hour nap.

We both wanted Italian for dinner so we had a long walk to the other side of Munich and made it to a great rated Italian restaurant . After a few pineapple mimosa.s we had pizza and a huge plate of homemade pasta with Bolognese. Tomorrow is a new day,
